The staircases of war are wet
Fires re-echo from the windows
And the mothers now are searching for hiding-places
Hidden footpaths of the sky
My country is sinking in lies
In pleasures which are dripping with bile
And the crooks are finding an escape
In earth which smells like a wound
The wind is blowing at the crossroads of the world
on the rotten teeth of a guard
It's blowing on the crutches of the cripple
Who leaned on the shoulder of a child
Woman, don't cry for your son
His weapon a candle in your hands
Thousands of breaths melt in churches
which filled with mud and shame
The wind is blowing at the crossroads of the world
on the rotten teeth of a guard
It's blowing on the crutches of the cripple
Who leaned on the shoulder of a child
